honor of 20 years of achievement, Mayor Rudolph Guiliani
proclaimed April 1, 1998 as “Employment Program for
Recovered Alcoholics Day” in New York City.

June, 2000, the Metro New York Chapter of the National
Rehabilitation Association presented the
"Rehabilitation Program of Distinction Award" to
EPRA.
EPRA’s
accomplishments have also been recognized by the professional
field.

National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism has
commented that “EPRA is an innovative system linkage
between alcohol and other drug treatment providers and the
vocational rehabilitation community.”

New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse
Services identifies EPRA as a unique model in which
“services are organized using a full-day structured
approach in a discrete environment conducive to creating
a work-like milieu.”
